Answer #1

First of all we have to know here which fuctional groups shows 2,4DNP test and which shows chromic acid test. So in case of 2,4DNP test shown by Aldehydes and ketones. So in above example that test is absent means our molecule dose not contains Aldheyde ketone groups.

Now it shows Chromic acid test means it contains Alcohol.so our molecule must have primary or secondary alcohol.

Now we have Some fuctional groups containing carbonyl carbons are as follows

1 Aldehydes

2 Ketones

3 Acids

4 Ester

5 Amide

These are fuctional groups containing Carbonyl carbons

Now,

If we have one molecule contains two fuctional groups acid or base then if we want to soluble it in solvent then we have to neutralize this groups.

If we added Acid to Functional groups like RNH3 then it will be netralise and become more soluble

Simultaneously if we added base to the acid group like RCOOH then it will again neutralize and soluble in respective solvents.

So it will depend on solvent also.
