CO2(g) + H2O(l) <----> CO2(aq); \DeltaH is negative.

The above process is exothermic.

Hence, according to Le-Chatelier's principle, low temperatures are favorable for the above equilibrium.

i.e. The solubility of CO2 decreases by increasing temperature.
