If somehow loop of Henle were removed - that is if the proximal tubule was connected to the distal tubule, would the kidney be able to produce concentrated urine? Explain

Loop of Henle uses counter current mechanism to concentrate glomerular filtrate in order to reabsorb water and ions back into the blood. So loop of Henle were removed kidney will not be able to produce concentrated urine. There will be huge loss of water and ions through urine if loop of Henle are to be removed.
