Answer #1

Labelled clockwise from top at 12 o clock position and numbered as 1 to 11

1. Cortical nephron

2. Distal convolution

3. Renal corpuscle

4. Proximal convolution

5. Juxtamedullary nephron

6. Thin ascending limb

7. Thin descending limb

8. Loop of Henle

9. Collecting tubule

10. Medulla (pyramid)

11. Renal cortex

The outer portion of the kidney is called renal cortex and contains cortical nephrons. The inner portion of the kidney is called renal medulla. The juxtamedullary nephron has renal corpuscle in the cortex and most other part in the medulla. Cortical nephrons has limited urine concentrating capacity where as the juxtamedullary nephron has more urine concentrating capacity

Hope this helps.... Thank you!!!
