The responsibility of a nurse leader stands high when it comes to the budgetting process in a healthcare sector. They form a major portion in the development of an organization with the staff.

The most important issue which can be faced by the nurse leader is the quality of the care delivered.

The nurse leader should be prepared to handle minimum staffing requirements in the following way

  • Involving the nurse in nursing education programs continuously to be updated
  • Proper distribution of skilled nurse to variety of patient to not hamper the quality service
  • Getting feedback from patient as well as the staff to improve the services
  • Proper communication helps to avoid any untoward incidents in The workplace.

The other process of budgetting is priority based budgeting, zero based budgeting, fixed budget or flexed budgets ,continuous budgets.
