Answer #1

Leaving the employees to meet their own standards is a thoght provoking idea but it is needed to be monitored whether the purpose is being survived.

The employees must have sufficient freedom to ensure their own standards are being reached but that freedom should nkt be overdone as there may be a chance of negligence.

Hence giving freedom upto an extent is always encourageable.

But that is to kept in a systematic and orderly way to ensure that the actual purpose is being done correctly.

The performance standards should be even set by the management to a reasonable level and leave to the employees to reach the standards and monitor the results to see whether the standards are being met.
