Answer: Quality, accuracy of medical coding is most important as coded data are used for many essential functions which includes reimbursement, clinical and financial decision making, healthcare policy, public health tracking, and research. If any error occurs in the coding it leads to the major effects on billing and population health by various means as all the calculations as well as information depends upon these data saved and due to error patient will suffer in paying bill or getting the reimbursement from the insurance company also. Any single error can lead to a lot of problem for the patients.
