1. Ethanol ahs hydrogen bonding which means that attractive forces are greater thantha in oxygen allowing it to stay inliquid state.

3. Ammonia has hydrogen bonding, meaning greater attractive forces which allow it to have a higher boiling point than ethane.

4. Sodium Chloride is an ionic compound with a very strong crystal structure. Due to this reason, it is very difficult to overcome the electrostatic forces of attraction and melt the salt.
