Solution :-

To assign the R and S configurations we give the priority numbers to the groups attached to the chiral center,

Priority numbers are given according to the atomic number of the atoms bonded to chiral carbon.

If the direction of arrow going for the priority numbers is clockwise then its 'R' configuration

and if the direction of the arrow is anticlock wise then its 'S' configuration.

the fourth priority number should be below the plane and if it is not then original configuration is reversed.
