Nearly 2208 people were voyaging in the ship but only 340 people were saved the remaining of more than 1500 people lost their lives. The life boat capacity was about 64 but only 28 people were boarded in it.It means approximately 1024 people could have been saved in place of just somewhere of 700.All were having a life jacket the Captain should have made the right decision in such a critical time.But at times humans makes a mistake in taking decision when there is a large loss and minimal source for help.But more number of peoples can be saved with the help of the life boat if thought effectively.
