Solution:

1) Spilling some salt on benchtop:

It causes less amount of salt is added in calorimeter which decreases the number of moles of salt. Therefore, calculated value of heat of solution will be lower than expected.

2) Salt not completely dissolved:

When the chosen salt is not completely dissolved, then the calculated value of heat of solution is lower than expected because change in temperature in calorimeter will be less than expected.

3) Volume is reduced:

If volume of liquid is reduced, then heat absorbed by liquid experiences high temperature change. Hence, heat of solution increases.
