In the graph, we can see that the population is increasing gradually.

From 1500 to 1750, it the rate of growth of population is more as compared to other years.

If we extrapolate the graph, in 2050 the population will be around 7000.

B. Initially, the growth rate of population is more. It may be due to following reasons :

1. Immigration of people from outside

2. Increased birth rate due to decrease in infant mortality.

3. Decrease in death rate due to increase in hygiene and sanitation conditions which prevent diseases

C. Sudden increase in population will cause competition between individuals of a population. The competition will due to limited amount of land, food and water for survival.
