26. 150 to 200 mg/kg/day by I.V. infusion in divided doses every 4 or 6 hours. (Usual recommended dosage for average [70 kg] adults: 3 grams q.i.d.)

27 as the dose is in complicated uti is 150-200 mg /kg/day

130 lb=59 kg

150*59=8.9gm

200*59=11.8 gm

the dose is 8.9-11.8 gram.

28.as the dose is8900-11800 mg. Device it in 6 equal doses to get 4 hru doses

i.e. 1478 - 1970 mg q 4 hrly

29 . Devide total day dose by 4 . To get 6 hrly dose

i.e. 2216.3-2955mg q 6 hrly
