Yes as his gpove has touched the packet so he has to change his gloves or better scrub again as Surgerical team has to wear completely sterilised gloves and has to practice no touch technique with anything which is not sterilised to eliminate the risk of infection to the patients
He should preferably have an assistant help to remove his gown also and he should scrub again for 10 mins and then wear gloves and gown again and then proceed
