a) The flow is from A to E as the EGL decreases from A to E.

b) The pump makes EGL and HGL jump upwards, Since the losses at section, D are negated by some effect that is the pump. So at D pump is present

c) At section E the lines are straight. Hence the velocity remains constant and hence the diameter of the pipe is constant.

d) At A reservoir exists
