Answer #1

Answer: The pump is regulated in ml/hr.

Here we have 1000mls of IV fluid.

The time is 75ml/hour.

It means in 1 hour the fluid travels in patient's body is 75ml

Therefore the infusion time for 1000mls will be= 1000mls÷75ml/hr

= 13.33hours.

Answer : The infusion time for 1000mls is 13 hours.
