Answer #1

1)

so, we have:
lambda = 8.1*10^-11 m

mass, m = 1.451*10^2 g
= 0.1451 kg

use:
lambda = h / (m*v)
8.1*10^-11 = (6.626*10^-34) / (0.1451*v)
v = 5.638*10^-23 m/s
Answer: 5.64*10^-23 m/s

2)
a)
For 1s, n=1
For s subshell, l = 0
Number of orbitals = 2l+1 = 2*0+1 = 1

Answer: 1, 0, 1

b)
For 3s, n=3
For s subshell, l = 0
Number of orbitals = 2l+1 = 2*0+1 = 1

Answer: 3, 0, 1

C)
For 6f, n=6
For f subshell, l = 3
Number of orbitals = 2l+1 = 2*3+1 = 7

Answer: 6, 3, 7
