The immunization of children has been credited with eradicating many deadly diseases such as polio, whooping cough, and smallpox. Prior to the development of the vaccines, hundreds of thousands of children died as a result of the diseases (Berger, 2019). Over the past decade, there has been a decline in the number of children being immunized in the United States. Much of this decline is due to the fear of some of the side effects of having a child immunized. The parents who make the decision are passionate about doing the right thing for their children.

In your response, address the following: What is your viewpoint on the immunization of children?

Do you think parents should be required by the government to immunize their children? Why or why not?

Do you think that the parents of a child who has not been immunized should be held responsible if their child passes on a disease to another child and that child has complications or dies? Why or why not?

The response should be researched, and therefore, references and citations of those references within the body of your response are required.

Answer #1

Immunization and vaccination are important for children for the deadly diseases. Government provides free vaccination or immunization to the child like polio, hepatitis B etc. We should definitely take advantage of these policies from government. But if the parents have a fear of some of the side effects then they must cross check with doctors that is it really true that child will have any side effects. We should definitely clear our doubts otherwise it will lead to a myth.

Parents should understand this that immunization is important for their child and should think deeply before taking any decision.

And off course parents will be responsible if the disease affect their child due their irresponsible nature. They must understand this that all the decision they are taking should be the cause of their affection that is caused to their child by not immunizing for that diseases.

There are many reasons why this dramatic increase occurred. Parents have a role in the obesity of children.
