Please help me answer this question for ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY subject. PLEASE answer it seriously and completely, or better not answer it if not then, really appreciate it, thank you.
6 a) For first process we only need spectroscopic technique to analyze. As there is no other component or it is not a mixture there is no need for chromatography. We just need the spectrophotometer to perform quantitative analysis of ions.
b) In this sample there may be more components so first we have to isolate those then identify for this we have to employ chromatography first to separate those individual heavy metals. Now these heavy metals need to quantify by spectroscopic technique utilizing beer's-lambert's law.
c) In this case also both the chromatographic and spectroscopic technique needs to be applied. First chromatography will separate the contaminated chemicals into individuals and spectroscopy will determine their concentration in ppb range.
d) In this case also both the chromatographic and spectroscopic technique needs to be applied. At first by chromatography stereospecific ressolution required which will employ chiral stationary phase. But for particular quantification we need spectroscopy.

Please answer it ALL completely and write clearly, thank you. ( 20 marks ) For the following samples, suggest a method/technique that can be used to satisfactorily perform the required analysis. The method/technique can be i) Two brands of unleaded petrol samples. The major and minor components in (ii) A fresh water sample obtained from a lake suspected to be polluted with spectroscopic, chromatographic or a combination of both. Explain your choice. the two petrol brands need to be identified....
