Answer #1

here,

theta1 = theta2 = 30 degree

the horizontal force , F = 50 N

mass of brick , m = 3 kg

Using Newton's second law

the normal force , N = m * g * cos(theta1) + F * sin(theta2)

N = 3 * 9.81 * cos(30) + 50 * sin(30) N

N = 50.5 N

the magnitude of normal force is 50.5 N

    Newton's Laws of Motion Consider an inclined plane with inclination angle theta. The magnitude of the friction force is mu times the magnitude of the normal force. F_f = mu F_N. Find the component of the total force along the plane on a block of mass M sliding down the inclined plane, and the acceleration down the plane.
