Answer #1

Molarity of a solution is given as,

Molarity = moles/volume in liters.

Number of moles = mass/molar mass

Molar mass of MgCl2 = 95.21 g/mol

Moles of MgCl2 = 8/95.21

= 0.084 moles MgCl2

Molarity = 0.084/0.500

= 0.168 M

Answer = 0.168 M
