Generally all nitrates are soluble in cold water

To investigate the solubility of Ferric nitrate solid,

we have to do dissolving in cold water test.

A few amount of Ferric nitrate solid is introduced into a test tube filled with cold water and then shake well. Now we can observe that total salt will be dissolved in cold water and a clear solution is appeared in the test tube.
