The biasness of responsibilities of professional and household work has been present in the history of the world. The main factors responsible for this can be summarised to the rigid and difficult social norms set in the society. These had been religiously followed across the cultures, however the developing/development status of the country, might create variations in the impact of pressures on women. The second shift at home is about household work such as , taking care of children, cooking, cleaning. This adds to the physical strain in addition to the mental stress. Media and social networking may be used as a medium to impact societies and encourage men to contribute in the household responsibilities. The change will occur in its slow and steady pace.
