Handheld devices support the health system in many ways. It coordinates the workflow and communicates the information to support health professionals. But still, its features are not met the compliance level. The keypads are smaller which increases the error in the work practices. The maintenance cost is increased. The number of security threats often increasing with handheld devices. Besides the advantages, the portable size plays disadvantages in misplacing, stolen, backups of storage. It cannot be used for multiple purposes at a time. Its interoperability limits its function. So it is not appropriate for medical applications.
