Answer #1

The pH measurements depend only the sample used. But the neature of the substances are mostly same i.e if it is acidic or basic. As for example pH of a shampoo can vary from 5 to 7. If a good shampoo is taken for pH measurement it will be neither too acidic not too basic. Now the short questions of colors of indicators are given below and these are perfect question as it's mentioned the solution acidic or basic. The answers are given below:

11.0 Base. 3.35 13.3 Substance | Bref mom fußer) | BH(from meter) a bone vinegar 2.4 to 4.4 3.25 I Acid Ammonia 11.6 (approx)Color color of of phenolphthalein in Ace = Phenolphthalein in Nach - colorless Pink Therefore: what color is phenolphthaleinPart 2 Buffers

pH of buffer 1 : _______ ( need to know the composition of buffer which is not supplied)

pH of water : 7

pH of buffer 1 and HCl : __________ ( if small amount of HCl added the pH will be the same as the pH of buffer 1)

pH of water and HCl : _________( it will be less than 7, depend on the concentration of HCl and amount of water.)
