1)Hospital layout promote patients safety.Mostly patients slip on the floor and attain new injuries this may be because of poor design of hospital along with other reasons.

Supporting furniture and hand rails and good finishing of floor may increase people safety as they will help in maintaing the balance.Rooms should build in such a way that it surrounds nursing stations will increase their care.Rooms should be spacious and mobility is to be considered.Patient lifts should also increase patients safety.

2)In hospitals there are 3 categories unrestrained,semi restricted and restricted areas.

Restricted areas consists of operating rooms and sterile storage areas.operating rooms are restricted because to minimise contamination of sterile fields and decrease infections.

3)In operating rooms air pressure is higher than that of surroundings so it prevents air borne bacteria from enerinen into the room.If air pressure is not high opening of doors during the surgery will cause the bacteria to enter into the opetopera room which will result in infections.

4) Operating rooms are maintained at specific humidity because if temperature increases humidity will cause condensation on surfaces and equipment and room ceilings .So humidity is maintained.
