Answer #1

Net force on right charge

F = k q^2 / r^2 - k (2q) q/ (2r)^2

F = k q^2 / r^2 ( 1 - 2/4)

F = k q^2/ (2 r^2)

So force acts to the right

So option (a) is correct answer
