Question

ATASE v tl Suppose an airplane passes over a series of air traffic control radio beacon checkpoints. At each checkpoint the time is recorded. The distance of each checkpoint from the planes starting point is known and recorded. The data is as follows Elapsed Time hours) Distance from Starting Point 0.235 200 1200 1.921 2.778 3.310 4.314 4.846 6.147 6.678 2100 2750 3500 4200 4900 5700 6650 4. Using Data Set 2 above, graph distance (y)-vs-time (x) using graph paper (this graph must be done by hand!). Distance should be on the y-axis, and time should be on the x-axis, such that the slope is distance/time. Make sure the axes are labeled. 5. Calculate the y-intercept and the slope of the line from the plot Make sure you show your work here or on the graph. Always indicate on your plot which points are being used for the slope calculation. Make sure the points lie on the best fit line Slope Y-intercept 6. Using the results from question 5, find the average speed of the plane. Average speed of the plane: km/hr Make sure you turn in both graphs and this lab packet. All your graphs should have the axes labeled. NO write-up required!

Consider 1-2 Vr? + y + 3 LLL da dydar. V1-38-98 V +y + y2 +22 +y +22-2 the origin to the point (2, y, ) makes with the z-axis is a new angle which we will label o, and we label the length of the line segment p. We can now determine the remaining side-lengths of our new triangle. Let us try to label our point (2, y, z) in only p and 6. Our labeled triangle gives us...
