"Management is the method of organizing individuals and other resources in order to attain the organization's objectives." Managers will assist the organization attain its objectives by fulfilling the four leadership tasks, planning, organizing, managing and controlling them. Some characteristics and organizational abilities may also be needed by excellent executives to assist them attain those objectives as well.It is a main functional management activity and all other tasks take place later than planning. "Planning includes setting objectives for the organization, taking measures to attain those objectives and taking decisions." Managers set tiny objectives as the steps to attain the organizational objectives, so planning is an ongoing method, because once one objective has been achieved, directors plan to accomplish the other objectives and this process will continue. Managers also always discover the best way to reach the objectives, that is, executives will find the most efficient and effective way to accomplish the objectives.

When organizational objectives and workable plans are established, executives will tend to organize individuals and the resources available to carry out the plan and follow the measures to attain those objectives. In today's business world, most of the company will use the organizational structure, which is "the arrangements that have been put in place to divide work between individuals to ensure that efforts are effectively coordinated." Normally, managers will group similar jobs together and maintain a clear chain of command to ensure that employees and resources are used effectively and efficiently.

It plays a crucial role in organizational development. Human resources have added more values in developing countries in the latest situation. Managing human resources is a notion that is growing very rapidly. In the productivity sector, it has marvelous significance. People and staff management procedures and policies allow organization to be effectively carried out.Management of human resources is all about enabling employees to use their characteristics to fulfill their contribution and the role of the motivation and purpose of the organization. Good management of human resources is very important if the organization wants to attract and retain excellent employees. It also implies that its employees and reputation are reduced by an organization. Management of human resources can also decrease the expense of the organization. Good recruitment procedures and policies, for instance, imply that organizations can hire more employees to be very efficient in carrying out their employment. Good performance management scheme, on the other hand, means that the organization must ensure that its employees achieve the best they can.
