He believes he could cut back a bit and save $5 a day, which is $35 a week and $140 a month So what's the impact of this seemingly modest cut back?if Bob invests his $35 savings a week every month at 5 percent he will have the following in the future 20 years: $57,545 30 years: $116,516 40 years: $213,643 So the seemingly small act of investing only $5 a day would have a dramatic long-term effect on Bob's future accumulated wealth. I would have a peculiar Investment Strategies involving putting at least 25% of my monthly earnings, which I spend on my Car fuel to commute to my Office 1.5 miles far from the home, spending on my daily late morning butter toasts and Tea. I can plan that money in 5 different ways and also keep my calories under check to avoid weight gain;

• Investing in Mutual funds, with an appropriate combination of Stocks from Financial, IT, FMCG, Real Estate and Chemical Industries.
• Putting my money directly in 3 to 4 S&P 500, Index or Nifty/Sensex Stocks.
• Buying some gold coins with almost 0% depreciation.
• Buying a piece of land or a building to let it for rent or Lease.
• Investing on Seasonal Commodities to foresee a price rise during off season and to be liquidated thereof.
