a) Break even point in dollars = Fixed cost / Contribution margin ratio

= 233100/0.30

Break even point in dollars = $777000

b) Margin of safety = Actual Sales - Break even sales

= 1036000-777000

Margin of safety = $259000

Margin of safety ratio = 259000/1036000 = 25%

c) Required sales in dollars = (233100+184500)/0.30 = $1392000
