Answer #1

Answer

We know that by range rule of thumb, any value below 2 standard deviations from mean and above 2 standard deviations from mean, is considered as significantly low or high.

we have mean = 25, σ

So, significantly low values are those values which are less than  *ơ

setting the values, we get

significantly low values are those values which are less than  25-(2 * 6) 25-12-13

and significantly high values are those values which are more than  *ơ

setting the values, we get

significantly high values are those values which are more than  25 (2 6) 25 12 37

So, MCAT scores that are significantly low or significantly high are below 13 or above 37
