The biggest mistake possible in the standardisation of NaOH is the Volume of potassium terephthalate titrated witht eh NaOH as there will always be a delay in the indicator changing color and you turning off the burette. In order to improve your results, you could try to slow the drip as the volume approaches the close to your approximate volume obtained before. This is also reduced by taking an average of at least 3 readings, eliminating error to some extent.
