Orem's theory : it is a one of nursing theory. That is '' self care deficit theory'' . It was given by Dorothea Orem , developed in between the year of 1959 - 2001.

These theory also known as Orem's model of nursing.

It is originated from based on human beings self care and adopting to the environment.

Pros of Orem's theory :

* These theory can helps the clients to perform self care activities like grooming, bathing, eating, walking etc.

* The clients or residents may recover very faster, through encouraging to do self care activities or tasks. *

* These theory can be apply for all types of nursing care like ex: care of elderly, nursing home care, during rehabilitation to the clients, and health care settings.

* It provides comprehensive based nursing practice, because all self care for the clients, nurse will provide here and also encourages the nurse to clients to perform those self care activities.
