Next, grab the pendulum and pull it back to to your first chosen angle. It shouldnt move once set. 11. Next, click on the stopwatch arrow to let the timer start as soon as the application begins. 12. Push the play arrow at the bottom (it was pause.) 13. Count 10 complete swings. Each swing is considered one back and forth motion. At the 10th swing hit the stop square on the stopwatch and the stop button on the bottom of the screen. 14. Record the time shown on the stopwatch in the second column of the data table above. 15. To find the period of the pendulum divide your Time for 10 swings by ten. Record this value in the last column. 16. Hit the reset button on the stopwatch (looks like an arrow) and re-run the experiment for the next angle in your table. Continue to do this experiment until the table is complete. 17. Using a piece of graph paper or a computer program plot Period vs. Angle using your data. Make sure to follow the rules for graphing and find the best fit line or curve for the plot. 18. Based on your graph what is the relationship between period and angle? Answer in the space below
