I will guess R1 and R2 are the two in parallel...

Thus R = 1/42 + 1/68

R = 26 Ohms

Add that to the 20 Ohm in series and R total = 46 Ohms

Part B)

V = IR

2 = I(46)

I = .0435 Amps
