Answer #1
  1. I am the founder of an agro business. I come from a rural area that is well known for its agriculture. My business is currently doing mushroom farming specializing in oyster mushrooms. The reason that I have chosen oyster mushrooms is because it is easy to grow and it has lot of nutrients and vitamins. It has other health benefits such as anti-cancer and anti-      oxidant. It also lowers blood sugar levels, cholesterol levels, etc. Since the world is currently bombarded with unhealthy fast foods and beverages, I have decided to produce organically grown oyster mushrooms.
  2. The critical component of the founding story is why I started off with the mushroom business. Since this is a rare business and has less awareness, it is difficult to market the products. The critical component lies in the success story of my business.
  3. My story to the customers would be mainly focused on the health benefits and to increase awareness of the product. However, for the media it would be focused on the success story of my business and motivate the younger generation to start up this agro business.
  4. My story connects with people on a personal level by telling them I overcame the hurdles and challenges. In this fast paced business environment, the organic mushroom was rejected initially as people did not have time to know its medicinal properties. Everyone in this world would have come across challenges and my story would be connecting with them on a personal note.
  5. In the crowd funding website, my story would be more like a project to seek the crowd’s help to raise funds for the project. My story would be more creative and technology oriented in the food stream. My supporters in the initial stages would be my fans, aspiring business youths, friends, etc.
