Consider the following experimental system: 1. Three squared plates with cross section of 150 mm and various thicknesses as describes below (in [mm]) lay on top of each other and heated on the bottom side of the lowest plate. The plates are isolated from all the sides apart from the top side. The plates are made of different materials: Aluminum (6061), Stainless steel (304) and regular window glass. On the bottom side of the lowest plate a heating element that provides heat transfer flux of q" =6.10 [W/m2].
