E(x) = n*p

E(x) = 30*0.20

E(x) = 6.0

b) The standard deviation is 2.1909.

sigma =sqrt{nast p(1-p)}

σ = V/30 * 0.2011-0.20)

c ) The probability that more than one of your coworkers will get the flu this year is 0.9888.

x = 1

By applying normal distribution:-

z = rac{x-mu }{sigma }
