Question

For problems #1-5, find the net force on each of the particles, the field strength and direction at point P, the potential at point P and the potential energy of the arrangement 1. A rectangle arrangement of 3 charges and point P is arranged such that point P is in the upper right hand quarter, a +4.50 microCoulomb charge is in the upper left hand quarter (28 cm from point P), a -8.50 microCoulomb charge is in the bottom right hand quarter (21 cm from point P), and a 6.50 microCoulomb charges is in the bottom left hand quarter 2. An isosceles triangle has a 10.0 mm base, with as single proton located at the each endpoint of the base of the isosceles triangle The altitude to the base of the triangle is 12.0 mm with an electron at the location of the vertex of the altitude.
