Organizational learning is a process to develop the learning culture in the organizations with enhanced knowledge and skills. It is a collective process of information sharing, knowledge creation, ideas and communication to help the individuals and organization to improve its capabilities through learning of new concepts, ideologies, practices and experience for achieving business goals. Organizational learning helps the organization to cope with future challenges and develop an attitude and mindset to leverage the knowledge, skills and experience through internal and external interactions. Such organizations can innovate better and provide customer service to increase customer satisfaction and improve business performance. The leaders of the organization have a role in creating a learning culture through enabling resources and processes like training for organizational learning. They can act as role models and communicate to their teams the importance of learning to manage the challenges of external environment and market conditions. Organisations create a common knowledge sharing platform for improving the access of information to the employees and sharing of new ideas and opinions. Technology supports organizational learning through use of tools for communication and managing knowledge and information. Technology has introduced changes which has necessitated organizational learning with change in processes and new concepts. It makes an organization competitive and create interests in employees as they have more opportunities for growth and career development.

The role of a supportive leader in the company is not only to delegate the task but to support their employees to maintain interpersonal relationships within the organization. The supportive leaders are trying to build a personal relationship with their employees to maintain the good vibes and the effective working environment in the organization. The leaders communicate with their team members with the clear vision of the future prospects and the knowledge to overcome the challenges.
Bill Gates would be the best example of this category who has achieved to build the best relationship with his employees by following the supportive leadership style. Being a leader he constantly encourage his employees with the innovations and the creativity to show for the improvisation of the software functions for Microsoft. He organizes the development meetings on a regular basis where he interrupts his colleagues by asking to resolve of some imaginary challenges. Like other successful leaders he also relies on the employees in his organization. The authoritarian style of his leadership is very effective when quick decisions are to be taken.
