but just for the sake of helping out the others who have to slave over physics webassign weekly like me...

first image is found by doubling the distance of the left mirror to the person...
1. 2 x 9 = 18

second one is found by adding 18 to the image of distance produced on the right mirror so..
2. 2 x 8 + 18 = 34

and finally, the third image is found by doubling the distance of the left image produced and adding it to the total distance of the second image, soo...

3. 2 x 9 + 34 = 52

best way to do that is

a) 2(3.8) = 7.6

b) 2(6.5) + (7.6) = 20.6

c) 2(3.8) + (20.6) = 28.2
