Question

A) You need to do ONE thing in this MarvinJS editor. Draw the electron flow arrows showing the step where the benzene derivative participates in the reaction that leads to the final major organic product. B) Draw the skeletal structure of the major organic product. The deuterium isotope (D) must be shown explicitly. C) Draw ALL the resonance structures needed to depict the arenium ion for this reaction. Include all lone pairs of valence electrons and all D's.

PLEASE HELP!

A) You need to do ONE thing in this MarvinJS editor. Draw the electron flow arrows showing the step where the benzene derivative participates in the reaction that leads to the final major organic product. Drawing alerts 1) Select the 2-electron flow arrow from the tool bar. 2) When a sigma bond is being converted to a pi bond (or vice versa), hoover the cursor over the bond (it will glow green), click in the middle of the bond and hold down the click while you drag the cursor to the region where the new bond will show up (it will also glow green.) 3) When a pi bond is being converted to a sigma bond with another atom, hoover the cursor over the bond (it will glow green), click in the middle of the bond and hold down the click while you drag the cursor to the atom where the new bond will show up (it will also glow green.) You should see a dotted line connecting the 2 atoms that will make the new bond. Marvin JS Help O: Edit drawing Cl: :Cl:

    5. Resonance provides the basis for a large portion of organic chemistry and helps us identify sites of high and low electron density. We will see that the electron source (nucleophile) is attracted to the site of electron sinks or deficiency (electrophile). For the following, draw the curved arrow that shows the movement of electrons that takes you from one resonance structure to the other. Remember to always start your arrow at the source of electrons (r-bond or lone pair)....
