Cognitive map in the individuals is affected by various factors which gets to influence their thinking process and this indeed allows them to read the society in a particular ways. Out of the given options, cultural differences, race an ethinicity, social class status etc can actually be considered as a reason for the cognitive map of an individual. Transportation is not known to effect the congnitive map of an individual.

Therefore (D) Transportation System is the answer.
