ANSWER - There are three types of muscle tissue ;

1) Skeletal muscle

2) Cardiac muscle

3) Smooth muscle

• Skeletal muscle -  

1. Multinucleated structure
2. Enlongated ( long and cylindrical)
3. straited
4. skeletal muscle is attached to bone
5. skeletal muscle is voluntary

• Cardiac muscle -

1. One or two nuclei
2. Enlongated with branch
3. Straited
4. Cardiac muscle is found in heart
5. Cardiac muscle is Involuntary

• Smooth muscle -

1. Single nucleus
2. Small myocyte ( spindle shape)
3. Non- straited
4. present in the walls of hollow organs like urinary bladder, uterus, stomach, intestine etc
5. Smooth muscle is Involuntary

SOME EXAMPLES OF MUSCLES-

• Glueteus Maximus - present in buttocks and it is the largest muscle of the body.
