Teams practice, bond, and mentally prepare in order to win games and challenges. We have seen reports in the news of college sport coaches aggressively and harshly "coaching" their teams. Do coaches who yell and mentally degrade their players help or hurt their teams? As a class, discuss the effects of this type of coaching on middle and high school teams' performance and level of individual self-esteem. Coaches those who tell and shout at their players maybe and equally may not be affecting the player's mind. It never motivates the player nor does anything better for him, but cannot completely be said that such coaches demotivate the player. But this is a way strictly not be practiced on high school students, as they are not matured to take it the way adults do.

We can easily figure this out, as adolescents we all wanted recognition and was never willing to give up self esteem. So in such a case when a teenager gets shouted at in front of other players or teammates, it could surely impact his confidence.
