Leadership in today's world is very important because without leadership organization and people remain directionless and failed. In healthcare organization, where patient's care is declining because of increase nurse burnout rate and increase nurse turnover in a Hospital so it is duty of leader to deal with such situation. The best leaderships style which can solve this issue is Transformational leadership style. This type of style is that leadership style in which a leader say Nurse manager will inspire nurses to perform their best and reward them for their performance. Such leader will lead by example not just talk the talk.

As transformational leader, I would focus on motivating and inspiring my nurse staff because they are the ones who are responsible for giving high quality care to patient. if patients are getting good care then readmission will decrease and cost will decrease as well.

Under this leadership, i would provide training and support to nurses so that they can improve their skills and knowledge to do their job better for example- if there are new nurses who have not used EHR system then i would organize a training session for them so that they can do their job on EHR.

I would reward and provide benefits to nurses who are showing standard performance. for example- A nurse is working more than her job hours so she would get reward like bonus or incentive for her work. This would motivate other nurses to work like her.So i think under my leadership style, the situation of increasing nurse turnover and decrease patient care will be solved.
