Change is something which is inevitable and happens with time. if organization does not implement changes then it can lead to failure but sometimes change can cause disaster and failure if not managed properly.Change management is the study of how organization implement,control changes like change in technology or change in organization structure.

Due to the growth of technology, modern organizational change is largely motivated by exterior innovations rather than internal factors. When these developments occur, the organizations that adapt quickest create a competitive advantage for themselves, while the companies that refuse to change get left behind .( Skelsey, Dan, 2013).

I think of an example, where Change was implemented but failed.the example is related to acquisition of an organization which seeks to grow its business by acquiring other firm in the same industry to gain economies of scale and gain market share. when company acquire the firm by investing billions of dollars they found out that the acquired company is bankrupt and is in huge debt also suffering from legal issues which was a failure of change.

The situation can be prevented if the executive like CEO of the company did a pre- analysis to check the financial stability of acquired company and its balance sheet to know the liabilities etc. if this could have done then change would be a success not a failure.
