Given that, sample size ( n ) = 65

sample mean (ar x) = 77

population standard deviation (sigma) = 8

confidence level = 99% That is c = 0.99

Using TI-84 calculator we get, 99% confidence interval estimate of the poulation mean (mu) is (74.44, 79.56)

74.44 < μ < 79.56
