Considering lower point of ladder,

F1 (16 sin(63)) = (820 x 4.3 cos(63)) + (490 x 8 cos(63))

Horizontal Force, F1 = 237.12 N

Vertical force, F2 = 490 + 820 = 1310 N

B)

F x 16 sin(63) = (820 x 9.4 cos(63)) + (490 x 8 x cos(63))

F = 370.3 N

Coefficient of friction, u = 370.3/1310 = 0.28
